Since 1983, attorneys Jim Rushford & Phil Bonotto have represented clients in a wide range of personal injury, real estate and construction defect matters. JAMES W. RUSHFORD, Partner:  was admitted to California State Bar in 1979. He was also admitted to practice in all jurisdictions in the State of California, the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of California, and the U.S. District Court-Northern District of California in 1983. Mr. Rushford has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 2005.

Jim Rushford attended California State University at Sacramento, earning his B.A. in Government in 1975. Mr. Rushford went on to attend McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where he earned his Juris Doctor in Law in 1979. He served as a Deputy District Attorney of Ventura County from 1980 to 1981. He became a minority consultant for the State of California Senate Judiciary Committee from 1981 to 1983. Mr. Rushford served as a Commissioner for the California Fair Political Practices Commission from 1993 to 1997, and as a Commissioner for the Bipartisan California Commission on Internet Political Practices in 2003.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Rushford currently volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem and serves on the Panel of Arbitrators for the Sacramento County Superior Court. He is an active member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar Association and the American Board Of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He also proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.

PHILLIP R. BONOTTO, Partner: admitted to the California State Bar, all jurisdictions in the State of California, and the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of California in 1983.  Phil Bonotto attended the University of California at Davis, where he graduated with a B.S., with honors, in 1980. He went on to attend McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where he earned his Juris Doctor in Law, with distinction, in 1983. He was awarded the honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Coif and the Traynor Society while attending McGeorge School of Law due to his scholastic and ethical achievements. He is admitted to practice in all of the courts in the State of California, the federal court for the Eastern District of California, and has argued cases before the First and Third District Court of Appeals and California Supreme Court. In addition to his extensive law practice, Mr. Bonotto currently volunteers to serve as a Judge Pro Tem and Panel of Arbitrators for the Sacramento and El Dorado County Superior Courts. Mr. Bonotto is AV rated by Martindale Hubbel, which is the highest level of peer review rating available to a practicing attorney. Mr. Bonotto is also an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel, and the Sacramento County Bar Association.

TRACY W. FRITCH-THYM was admitted to the State Bar of California Bar in 2013.  Mr. Fritch-Thym was admitted to practice law in all jurisdictions of the State of California in 2013 and the U.S. district Court-Eastern District of California in 2014.  Mr. Fritch-Thym attended California State University of Sacramento, where he earned his B.A. in Government in 2008.  Mr. Fritch-Thym went on to attend Laurence Drivon School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in Law.  He served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Linda Lofthus in 2013, assisting the court in civil research, analysis and law in motion.  Mr. Fritch-Thym is a current member of the State Bar of California.

KIRSTIN A. GLASS was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014.  Ms. Glass attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where she earned her B.A. in History (emphasizing Early Modern European History) in 2010. She went on to study Spanish in the Basque region of Spain before returning to California in 2011 to attend Santa Clara University School of Law.  Ms. Glass earned her Juris Doctor in Law in December 2013. While in law school she worked with the Mexican Consulate and immigration non-profits on u-visas and Dreamers applications, served as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Vanessa Zecher, and interned with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority. Prior to joining Rushford & Bonotto, she was staff counsel for State Farm in Pleasanton, California. Ms. Glass is a current member of the State Bar of California.

SPENCER S. TURPEN was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014. Mr. Turpen attended the University of California Berkeley where he earned his B.A. in Political Economy of Industrialized Societies in 2008. Mr. Turpen went on to attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in Law in 2013. Mr. Turpen is a current member of the State Bar of California.

SARAH KATHRYN GLATT was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2015.  Ms. Glatt attended the University of San Francisco where she earned her B.A. in Politics.  Ms. Glatt went on to attend the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in Law.  Ms. Glatt is currently a member of the State Bar of California.

HASAN B. SHAIK was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2016.  Ms. Shaik attended the University of California Davis where she earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2013.  Ms. Shaik went on to attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in Law.  Ms. Shaik is currently a member of the State Bar of California.
